In Real Estate Words Matter.

Here’s an interesting study of 20,000 Canadian home sales between 1997 and 2000 that found words really do matter in advertisements. Here’s a sample of what they found:

* Use the word “Beautiful” and the home sold 15% quicker and for 5% more then average
* Homes Listed as “Good Value” sold for 5% Less
* “Motivate” sellers took 15% LONGER to sell
* “Must See” had no impact on the length of time a house took to sell.
